Be part of a small London office that supports a collective of marine liability insurers covering around 90% of the world’s ocean-going tonnage.
You’re someone who enjoys numbers, structure, and keeping complex budgets under control. You want a part-time role where your Excel capability genuinely matters, and where you can take ownership of financial administration that underpins a global marine insurance framework.
This is a part-time position offering 3 days per week, based in the office within walking distance of Fenchurch Street, Liverpool Street, and Aldgate Tube Station.
This is a fixed-term contract position with a minimum of 8 months and a maximum of 12 months duration.
You’ll manage cash books, quarterly invoicing, and multi-party budget flows across 12 member organisations. The work is steady, detailed, and best suited to someone who likes accuracy and clear processes.
You’ll prepare committee budgets, reconcile monthly statements, and support payroll, pensions, VAT returns, and insurance administration. The biggest recurring task is producing financial summary sheets for senior meetings three times a year - work that requires confidence with spreadsheets and comfort handling high-value transactions.
