Job Description:
Elevation have the pleasure of working exclusively with a heavy manufacturing company based in the Sheffield area. This leading manufacturing company, are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their close knit team!
Salary: £36,000- £40,000
Location: Sheffield
Hours: Monday to Thursday- 6.15am till 4.30pm

Duties of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
*Attending to PPM’s and breakdowns on a daily basis
*Assisting mechanical engineer as and when needed
*Ensure equipment is operating correctly to minimise machinery downtime
*Inspection testing, installations as and when needed
*Ordering parts/ spares to ensure available as and when needed
*Certification of all new and existing installations to regulations
*Retesting and certifying presses to HSG236 regulations
*Using Shire (pirana) CMMS system daily
*Ensuring daily, weekly and annual servicing is complete
*Assist with machine installations as and when needed
*Working with other departments to a continuous improvement focus to ensure the business is the best it can be
Desired experience of Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
*You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained)
*It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
*Ideally have 3 years+ experience within in a Electrical maintenance position outside of apprenticeship
*Must have worked within a heavy manufacturing maintenance background previously
*Must have PLC fault finding experience
*Must have the good work ethic, someone who can work independently and within a team environment
*Have 17th edition as a minimum
