Job Description:
Customer Data & Insight Manager
Salary: Up to £45,000
Location: Blackpool (hybrid - 3 days onsite)
A UK-based retail organisation is seeking a Customer Data & Insight Manager to support customer analytics, insight delivery, and CRM decision-making across the business.
This is a hands-on analytics role focused on customer data rather than a people-management position. The successful candidate will sit between data and marketing teams, helping shape customer insight, segmentation, and reporting while ensuring data quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
*Analyse and report on customer data to support CRM and marketing strategy
*Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI
*Use SQL to query and explore customer databases
*Support segmentation, targeting, and campaign insight
*Improve data quality through cleansing and de-duplication
*Ensure GDPR and customer data compliance
*Contribute to customer data transformation initiatives, including building a single customer view
Experience Required
*Hands-on experience in data analysis or customer insight roles
*Strong SQL skills and experience working with customer databases
*Power BI and Excel experience
*Exposure to CRM platforms such as Bloomreach, Salesforce, or similar
*Comfortable working with incomplete or evolving data environments
*Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a data-driven role (around 5 years ideal, but flexible)
