We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day finance operations and support strategic decision-making across the business. This is a hands-on role suited to a technically strong accountant who enjoys managing a team, improving processes, and partnering with stakeholders. The position will involve hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2days remote working.
Key Responsibilities*Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
*Prepare and review management accounts, including commentary and variance analysis
*Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
*Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements
*Oversee cash flow management and financial controls
*Manage and develop a finance team, providing leadership and guidance
*Act as a business partner to operational teams, supporting commercial decision-making
*Liaise with external auditors, tax advisers, and other stakeholders
*Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls
Requirements*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
*Strong technical accounting knowledge
*Experience producing management accounts and leading month-end processes
*Proven team management or supervisory experience
*Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
*Commercially aware with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
*Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders
