Full time hours on a temporary basis
*Key Responsibilities
*Provide governance services for a large defined benefit pension scheme
*Ensure full compliance with LGPS Regulations and national governance requirements
*Oversee committee governance, reporting, and decision-making support
*Lead on business planning, performance monitoring, and risk management
*Develop and deliver training programmes to a wide range of stakeholders
*Support procurement activity and ensure compliance with procurement standards
*Drive system and process improvements to enhance governance and service delivery
*Oversee compliance with industry standards and internal controls
*Supervise and develop staff within the governance function
*Deliver clear, high-quality reports, evidence, and recommendations
*Work effectively within a complex environment with competing priorities
*Ensure governance processes support efficient, transparent and accountable fund administration
