Description
Management Accountant responsibilities include;
*Posting month-end journals and conducting periodic P&L reviews
*Managing budgeting and forecasting processes
*Maintain prepayment and accrual schedules, fixed asset records, lease assets, and statutory reporting requirements.
*Oversee VAT returns and other statutory submissions.
*Preparation of year end accounts, audit management and external financial reporting processes
*Support the Payroll Manager with producing payroll during absence or annual leave cover.
*Support subcontractor payment processing and CIS submissions.
Profile
The successful Management Accountant should have:
*A formal qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is preferred however will consider QBE
*Previous commercial and management accounting experience required
*Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
*Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments.
*Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving business.
*Previous construction experieince is advantageous.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000 per annum.
