Job Description:
Programme Support Officer
*Warrington - 3 days per week on-site
*6 months initial contract
*£200 per day via Umbrella
Join our team as a Programme Support Officer, where you will act as the focal lead within Production Planning and Delivery for all systems, processes, and procedures used in relation to business planning and project delivery for the Wastewater Network. This role is essential in supporting the development of a regional prioritised capital programme and ensuring consistent monitoring and reporting of project level Capex expenditure.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Ensure all systems used within Production Planning and Delivery are fit for purpose, maintained, and updated to provide reliable, accurate, and complete information.
*Collaborate closely with other officers to collate all issue, need, and project information into a regional view.
*Monitor submissions, ensuring the problem note processes are followed and highlighting any issues to the management for appropriate action.
*Assist in prioritising the capital planned programme for the Wastewater Network.
*Distribute the prioritised view of all Wastewater Network problems/needs/projects to the area teams monthly and collate all feedback as required.
*Support managers by collating all information required for presentation at the relevant monthly meetings.
*Produce relevant scorecard data to feed into the monthly performance packs.
*Ensure adherence to the process, obtaining business approval for each project and allocating funds from the correct sub-programme.
*Collate and analyse project level financial trackers maintained by commercial teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
*Arrange and coordinate progress and financial meetings to support the managers in delivering the endorsed programme within the constraints.
*Collate outputs from all appropriate planned capital works and input as required into Regulatory Reporting.
*Identify and conduct any training needs/requirements related to various processes and systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Good understanding and experience of day-to-day operations, repair, and maintenance techniques.
*Knowledge of current maintenance contracts and commercial awareness.
*Familiarity with Health and Safety standards, including CDM Regulations.
*Proficient in the use of computer systems for reporting, such as SAP, CPMS, and other relevant software.
*Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to make quick decisions.
*Strong IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to analyse complex sets of data.
*Very good planning and prioritisation skills, strong customer focus, and experience dealing with multiple framework contractors.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
