Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Change Adviser to join a leading London based university during a pivotal period of organisational transformation. The institution is integrating Professional Services and establishing the new School of Health and Medical Science. This role focuses on the change, supporting the design, implementation and delivery of people-focused initiatives that ensure a smooth transition for staff and stakeholders. You will play a key role in supporting Directorates and senior managers, advising on employee relations, guiding consultation processes and helping shape the university’s future operating model.
Role Information:

*Salary: 43,482 paid on a day rate
*Location: Farringdon
*Contract length: 7 months Fixed Term
Key Responsibilities:
Change & Consultation Support
*Lead on HR aspects of organisational change activity, providing accurate, timely and legally compliant advice.
*Support Directors with the development of change proposals, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and the Target Operating Model.
*Act as HR lead for consultation processes, including redundancy consultations and employee communications.
*Prepare structured change plans, consultation documents, plans, timelines and communications materials.
Employee Relations & Legal Compliance
*Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring decisions are fair, transparent and compliant with employment law and best practice.
*Support the sensitive development and communication of redundancy calculations and settlement agreements.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
*Build effective working relationships with Directors, Trade Union representatives and the Change Support Unit.
*Communicate complex HR and legal information clearly to a range of audiences.
*Influence stakeholders, provide coaching and support managers through all stages of the change process.
Planning, Organisation & Reporting
*Prioritise and manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.
*Maintain accurate documentation and version control to ensure clarity and consistency.
*Produce reports and dashboards to update senior leadership on progress and programme status.
Candidate profile:
*Strong experience in employee relations or change management
*Knowledge of employment law, particularly relating to restructures, mergers, redundancies and consultation processes
*Experience managing employee consultations and working with Trade Unions
*Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise complex workloads
