Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrically Biased) – Project-Based Role
Location: Beccles, Suffolk
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30 (40 hrs/week)
Salary: Competitive, DOE
Contract: Permanent
We are supporting the recruitment of a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrically Biased) to join the Projects team of a leading manufacturing business in Beccles.
Reporting to the Project & Site Services Manager, you will deliver engineering projects across machinery installation, decommissioning, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives—ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities *Deliver engineering projects and improvement programmes within agreed budgets and timelines
*Install, maintain, modify, and decommission production machinery
*Work closely with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams
*Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards and complete required risk assessments
*Identify and implement performance and efficiency improvements
*Maintain accurate project and engineering documentation
*Adhere to company EHS policies and statutory requirements
*Take ownership of tasks, maintaining high workmanship and professional standards
*Occasional travel to other company sites
Qualifications & Experience *NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering (Mechanical knowledge desirable)
*Competence in a secondary discipline (mechanical preferred)
*Experience working with manufacturing or production machinery
*Understanding of PUWER and machinery safety (advantageous)
*Full UK driving licence
*Forklift licence (desirable)
