Job Description:
Job Title: Data Administrator
Location: BAE Systems, Preston
Rate: £15.07 PAYE or £20.06 via umbrella (inside IR35)
Contract: 12 months
Overview BAE Systems in Preston is seeking a Data Administrator/Data Analyst to provide back-office support to the recruitment function. This role is data- and reporting-focused rather than candidate-facing recruitment, making it ideal for someone with strong admin skills and an eye for detail. Some recruitment experience is beneficial but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
*Producing and maintaining recruitment reports and figures
*Working with data sets to track recruitment activity and performance
*Using Excel for data entry, analysis, and reporting
*Providing a high level of internal customer service to stakeholders
Skills & Experience Required
*Strong administrative and organisational skills
*Strong Excel knowledge, particularly Power Query
*Experience in customer service and/or office-based admin roles
*Confidence working with data, reporting, and figures
Ideal Candidate
*Detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers
*Reliable, well-organised, and able to manage multiple tasks
*Professional communicator with a service-focused mindset
