Job Description:
Sales Account Manager, Warehouse Storage Systems/ Birmingham / Circa £35,000 Per Annum
Our client is a well-established supplier of warehouse storage systems, serving a broad range of B2B customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Sales Account manager to take over and further develop a successful sales territory covering the West Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven B2B sales professional to inherit a strong, established patch while also focusing on developing new business.
You will be responsible for managing and growing sales within the West Midlands region, so the role will suit someone who is familiar with this area. You will be working with both existing customers and new prospects. The role combines account management, upselling, and new business generation, with full product and systems training provided.
Key responsibilities of the Sales Account Manager include:
*Managing and developing an established customer base
*Identifying and securing new business opportunities
*Upselling additional products and solutions to existing clients
*Building long-term relationships with customers
*Liaising daily with internal teams and our own suppliers
*Managing the full sales process from initial enquiry to order completion
*Representing the company professionally within the region
Skills and Experience:
*Experience in a B2B sales role (field sales preferred)
*Warehouse systems knowledge preferred but not crucial
*Confident in developing new business as well as managing existing accounts
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven
*Comfortable working autonomously within a regional role
*Ideally located close to sales area (postal codes B, WV, CV)
*Full, valid UK driving license essential (1+ year minimum)
