We are looking for a Skilled Labourer to join our team covering Cornwall. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, working 39 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
As a Skilled Labourer with Guinness, you will be required carry out physical tasks such as to clear waste from day-to-day repair works and apply products that remove and treat damp and mould, in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines. You will also be supporting your colleagues by being the second person in paired jobs. You should have excellent customer service skills and the drive to make things possible.
This vacancy is to work in the Cornwall area and travel between sites will be required, therefore applicants should hold a full UK driving licence.
Key essential requirements of the role
*You must have experience in carrying out minor remedial building works.
*Experience of working in a customer-focused environment and ideally within the social housing sector, where you have delivered a great service
*Proven ability to work methodically, achieve targets, follow agreed procedures and accurately record information.
*Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating organisational and time management skills.
*Ability to carry out physical tasks such as clearing waste and apply products that remove and treat damp and mould, in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
*Ability to operate safely, considering any environmental circumstances and possible risks.
