Your Role:
As a Teaching Assistant (PMLD), you will:
*Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging, individualised lessons and activities tailored to students’ unique learning needs.
*Provide personal care assistance, including feeding, toileting, and mobility support.
*Use specialist tools and techniques, such as sensory resources and assistive technology, to enhance communication and learning.
*Observe, record, and report on students’ progress and well-being to inform teachers and caregivers.
*Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes independence and participation.
*Work closely with a multidisciplinary team - including therapists, teachers, and parents - to deliver holistic support.
