Job Description:
IT Support Officer
*£28.67 per hour (Umbrella)
*until end of May initially
*Location: South East London
*Job Type: Full-time, Onsite
We are seeking two IT Support Officers to join our team, focusing on end-user laptop deployment programmes. This hands-on, customer-facing role involves supporting structured deployment sessions and providing first-line technical assistance to users post-deployment. The ideal candidate will have experience on a busy service desk managing call queues and must be available to work onsite 5 days a week.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide first-line troubleshooting during post-laptop deployments.
*Support and run deployment sessions, including room setup and user guidance.
*Install and configure laptops, operating systems, and standard applications.
*Collect and log old laptops and chargers from end users.
*Test devices to ensure readiness before handover.
*Accurately document activity and issues, escalating where necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience in EUC, desktop support, or laptop deployment roles.
*Strong communication and customer-service skills.
*Comfortable working in busy, high-volume deployment environments.
*Reliable, professional, and process-driven.
*Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Azure AD, Office 365, VPN, and EUC tooling.
