Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and supportive People Advisor to deliver high-quality HR support across the organisation. You’ll work closely with People Partners to guide managers, improve processes, and champion a positive employee experience.
What you’ll do
*Provide day-to-day HR advice to managers and employees.
*Support onboarding, pre-employment checks, and probation processes.
*Maintain the HRIS and support monthly payroll activities.
*Monitor absence, advise on sickness management and coordinate Occupational Health referrals.
*Support employee relations cases including investigations, disciplinaries and grievances.
*Manage family-friendly processes such as maternity, paternity, and flexible working.
*Support policy updates and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
*Contribute to HR improvement projects and engagement initiatives.
*Produce regular HR reports including absence, turnover and diversity metrics.
About you
*CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards).
*Experience in a fast-paced HR advisory role.
*Confident working with HR systems and data.
*Experience supporting payroll processes.
*Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
*Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
*Able to handle sensitive matters with discretion and integrity.
*Passionate about creating a positive, inclusive working environment.
