What you will do:
- Conduct EHC needs assessments for children aged 0 to 19, offering a crucial service to support their development.
- Administer both formal and informal assessments, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each child’s needs.
- Write detailed reports that contribute to effective intervention planning, and collaborate with educators and families.
- Deliver assessments in mainstream schools, enhancing educational support for children with additional needs.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Possess a degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- Have recent UK experience as an Occupational Therapist with a proven track record within the NHS.
- Be registered with the HCPC and experienced in conducting EHC needs assessments, report writing, and mainstream school assessments.
