Bookkeeper Ilkeston | Part-Time or Full-Time Considered | Competitive Salary (DOE)
A small, friendly, and growing business based in Ilkeston is looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day running of the finance function.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on role within a close-knit team, where you can really make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:*Managing purchase and sales ledger

*Bank reconciliations

*Processing invoices and payments

*Credit control

*VAT returns

*Assisting with month-end reporting

*Maintaining accurate financial records

*Liaising with external accountants

The Ideal Candidate:*Previous experience in a bookkeeping role

*Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or similar)

*Good understanding of VAT and basic accounting principles

*High attention to detail

*Organised and able to work independently

*Friendly and reliable team player
