BSL Teacher - Specialist Provision
Location: Woodford | Daily Rate: £180-£250 | Full-Time | Immediate Start
Remedy Education is excited to recruit a passionate and skilled BSL Teacher to join a welcoming, inclusive school in Woodford. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference for deaf and hearing-impaired pupils, supporting their learning, communication, and development in a specialist setting.
We are looking for a confident, adaptable teacher who can deliver engaging, inclusive lessons using British Sign Language (BSL) to ensure all pupils have full access to the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons using BSL for deaf and hearing-impaired pupils

* Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and the SEN team

* Promote inclusive classroom practices and positive engagement

* Monitor pupil progress and support strong educational outcomes

* Foster pupils’ communication, confidence, and independence

What we’re looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

* BSL qualification (Level 2 or above preferred)

* Experience supporting deaf or hearing-impaired pupils is highly desirable

* Strong understanding of inclusive and differentiated teaching

* Excellent communication, classroom management, and teamwork skills

* Enhanced DBS (on Update Service or willing to apply)
