Accounts Receivable Senior (12-Month FTC - Maternity Cover) - Windsor - £33.000 - £36.000
Job Summary
A well-established organisation is seeking two experienced Accounts Receivable professionals to join its finance team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
This is a fast-paced role reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Lead, with responsibility for key AR processes including resident/customer account reconciliations, invoicing, cash allocation, refunds, and supporting aged debt management.
The role requires strong attention to detail, confidence working across multiple systems, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage daily and monthly invoice uploads into the accounting system
*Ensure invoice accuracy and resolve discrepancies
*Review and validate credit notes prior to processing
*Investigate customer accounts and prepare refund documentation following reconciliation
*Allocate incoming receipts accurately
*Reconcile customer accounts and resolve differences
*Maintain accurate customer account records and supporting documentation
*Support revenue reconciliations
*Take ownership of bank reconciliations, including month-end close processes
*Analyse aged debt reports
*Work collaboratively with operational sites to resolve outstanding balances
*Provide documentation and support for internal and external audit requests
Key Skills & Experience
Essential
*Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or similar finance role
*Experience working with accounting systems and multiple platforms
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Intermediate Excel skills
*Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
*Strong communication skills when working with multiple sites or stakeholders
*Proactive, organised, and self-motivated
*Team-oriented with a professional approach
