Food Technology Teacher - Start ASAPLocation: Teesside
Contract: Long-term supply via Hays Education
Start Date: ImmediateWorking With: KS3/KS4
DBS: DBS on the Update Service is essential
About the RoleHays Education are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Teesside area on a long-term supply basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a strong ECT with a passion for delivering engaging and practical lessons.
Key Responsibilities
*Teach Food Technology to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
*Plan and deliver creative, practical, and theory-based lessons
*Manage a well-organised and safe food technology classroom
*Assess, monitor, and support student progress
*Contribute positively to the wider school community
Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
*Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3/4
*Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service - essential
*Strong classroom management and communication skills
*Ability to start immediately and commit to a long-term role
