Job Description:
Tradewind Recruitment are actively recruiting for Teachers of Science to work closely with a range of secondary schools in the Ashford area. The roles will be from after Easter until the end of the year with the view of extending beyond!
Salary - £32,916 - £51,049 depending on experience - PAYE!
The role:
*Plan and deliver lessons across all 3 disciplines of Science to KS3 and KS4 students
*Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
*Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions
*Attend departmental meetings and parents evenings when required
*Actively participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the educational experience
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Strong subject knowledge across Chemistry, Physics and Biology
*Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
*Commitment to continuous professional development and growth
*Excellent behaviour management skills
*Experience of teaching Science to KS3 and/or KS4 students
*Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
*Legal right to work in the UK
