A friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Didcot is seeking an ASD Support Assistant to join their team. This role is available ASAP, with a confirmed September 2026 start for the new academic year.
You will support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated mental health needs, delivering 1:1 and small group interventions. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you will help tailor the National Curriculum to meet individual learning needs and support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
The ideal candidate:
*Has experience working with children (school experience desirable)
*Has a strong interest in ASD and mental health support
*Is patient, resilient, and nurturing
*Can commit to a full-time role
