A welcoming and well-resourced specialist setting in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity to teach a 6th Form class of students with complex needs and PMLD, delivering highly personalised learning in a supportive environment.
The Role*Lead a small 6th Form class of students with complex needs and PMLD

*Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to EHCP outcomes

*Work closely with a skilled team of support staff and therapists

*Focus on communication, life skills, sensory learning and preparation for adulthood

*Create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment

Requirements*QTS is essential

*Proven experience supporting students with complex needs and PMLD

*Strong understanding of personalised learning, sensory approaches and communication strategies (e.g. PECS, Makaton, AAC)

*A compassionate, patient and proactive teaching style

*Child and Adult DBS (desirable)
