Join Our Team as a Year 2 Primary Teaching Assistant in Sandbach!
We’re looking for a dedicated Year 2 Primary Teaching Assistant to support a child with an EHCP who has social and emotional needs. If you’re patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about creating a Positive learning environment, we’d love to hear from you! This role is 5 days a week with full Primary school hours (8:30 -3:30)
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide one-to-one support to a Primary Year 2 student with an EHCP.
*Assist in setting strategies to support the child’s social and emotional development.
*Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt lessons and activities.
*Create a positive, inclusive atmosphere where the child feels safe and encouraged to learn.
*Monitor and report on the child’s progress, working collaboratively with parents and professionals.
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience working with children with social and emotional needs.
*A patient, understanding approach with a strong ability to build rapport.
*A positive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Relevant qualifications or experience in special educational needs (SEN) is desirable but not essential.
