Mathematics Teachers Wanted in Chester!
We are looking for passionate Maths Teachers to join secondary departments in Blacon, Huntington, Hoole, and Upton. If you’re ready for a change-whether that’s starting right now or beginning a new chapter after Easter-we provide the support and the schools to help you succeed.
Role type: Full or Part-Time and Long-Term or Short-Term.
Requirements:
*QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
*Good communication skills and subject knowledge.
*A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
Key Duties:
*Plan and deliver logic-based Maths lessons that challenge and inspire students.
*Simplify complex mathematical concepts for learners of all abilities.
*Prepare Year 11 students for the final stretch of their GCSE examinations.
*Manage classroom dynamics to maintain a productive and respectful environment.
*Mark assessments promptly and provide clear feedback for student growth.
*Track progress data to identify and support students falling behind the curve.
*Collaborate with the Maths department to develop high-quality learning resources.
*Communicate effectively with parents regarding student achievement and goals.
*Participate in school-wide duties, meetings, and professional development days.
