Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced SMART Repair Technician to join our client’s busy bodyshop in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled cosmetic repair specialist to work within a professional workshop environment, delivering high-quality repairs to a wide range of vehicles.
SMART repair roles in the Stoke area typically offer £35,000 basic with OTE around £42,000, depending on experience and bonus structure.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out SMART repairs including paintwork, bumper scuffs, scratches, and minor dent removal
*Prepare vehicles for paint and cosmetic refinishing
*Mix and match paint colours to manufacturer standards
*Repair minor body damage to panels, trims, and alloy wheels
*Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes
*Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
*Follow manufacturer and health & safety guidelines
Requirements*Previous experience as a SMART Repair Technician, Paint Sprayer, or Cosmetic Repair Technician
*Strong knowledge of paint processes and repair techniques
*Ability to complete high-quality repairs from start to finish
*ATA accreditation (desirable but not essential)
*Full UK driving licence
*Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
