Classroom Support Assistant (SEN) - Secondary School - St Helens
Long-Term Role | Immediate Start | Up to £100 per day
Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting a dedicated and resilient Classroom Support Assistant to work in a forward-thinking secondary school in St Helens, Merseyside.
This is a long-term supply role, starting immediately, supporting pupils within the school’s SEN hub on a 1:1 basis.

The Role - Classroom Support Assistant (SEN)
You will be:
*Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a one-to-one basis
*Working within the school’s dedicated SEN provision / hub
*Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation
*Assisting with learning activities across the secondary curriculum
*Liaising with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff
*Helping students access education in a positive and structured way
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
*Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant / Classroom Support Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant
*Strong classroom management skills
*A confident, calm and proactive approach
*A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
*A positive "can-do" attitude and resilience
*An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Pay & Benefits
*Up to £100 per day (depending on experience)
