Job Description:
Cobalt is on the lookout for a Maintenance Operative to work for a company with aggressive growing plans in Elephant & Castle.
Managing the maintenance of a vibrant accommodation block, the Maintenance Operative will enjoy the responsibility of ensuring the living quarters are maintained to a top standard.
An internal promotion within the company has presented this outstanding opportunity for a skilled Maintenance person to join a reputable and well-renowned property owner and developer.
Key responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
*Ensuring planned, preventative, and proactive maintenance work is carried out
*Liaise with on-site contractors to ensure work is done to the appropriate standard
*Provide support with onboarding of new staff members and offer guidance where possible
*Contribute to the delivery of KPI’s in line with the property and business
*Conduct regular building checks to identify any potential health & safety risks
*Carry out planned inspections of site areas while recording information in a timely manner
Candidates for this role would ideally be from a trade background (electrical, carpentry, plumbing) within a customer-facing environment such as hospitality or the residential sectors previously.
