We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join one of London’s most exciting construction groups. This role will provide you exposure to the end-to-end AP and AR reporting cycle, providing exposure to the month-end cycle.

Description
*Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
*Process invoices, payments, and expense reports efficiently and accurately.
*Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
*Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting documentation for audits.
*Manage accounts payable and receivable processes effectively.
*Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
*Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
*Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department as needed.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
*Experience within the construction industry highly desirable.
*Previous experience using COINS highly desirable.
*Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
*Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
