A great opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to support a growing Multi Academy Trust during a key period. You’ll work closely with the CFO, leading on management accounts, treasury activity, financial controls and audit preparation across multiple schools.

Key Responsibilities
*Produce monthly consolidated management accounts and cashflow forecasts
*Monitor financial performance, investigate variances and ensure data accuracy
*Manage treasury activity, monitor balances and maximise investment income
*Support procurement and contract monitoring to ensure value for money
*Lead month-end and year-end processes including accruals, prepayments and key journals
*Coordinate audit information and submit VAT returns
*Ensure compliance with the Academy Trust Handbook and financial regulations
About You
*Qualified/part-qualified accountant (CCAB/CIMA/ACCA) or AAT Level 4
*Strong experience in management accounts and financial reporting
*Confident with journals, reconciliations and variance analysis
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to explain finance to non-finance staff
*Experience in multi-site or public sector environments is desirable
