Childcare Solicitor
Permanent | 2+ Years’ PQE

Are you passionate about safeguarding vulnerable children?
A well-established and highly regarded Greater Manchester law firm is seeking a Childcare Solicitor to join its growing childcare team. Known for its excellent reputation in childcare and family law, the firm offers a supportive and collaborative working environment.

You will join a friendly team of five specialist care lawyers, supported by experienced secretarial and paralegal staff. This role may also suit candidates seeking part-time working arrangements.

The Role
You will manage a varied and rewarding caseload, primarily involving:
*Care proceedings
*PLO (Public Law Outline) pre-proceedings work
*Representing clients in childcare matters
*Drafting legal documents and case preparation
*Advocacy where appropriate
You will also work closely with colleagues within the childcare team to deliver high-quality legal services to vulnerable children and families.
Requirements
You will have:
*2+ years’ PQE (guideline only – applications from all experience levels are welcome)
*Qualification as a Solicitor
*Strong communication, analytical and drafting skills
*The ability to manage a full caseload independently
*A willingness to undertake advocacy where appropriate
*Children Panel membership (or working towards it) is desirable
