Job DescriptionPembrook Resourcing are currently seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our client’s busy dealership in the Abingdon area. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join a professional aftersales team and develop their career within the automotive industry.
Dealerships in the area include businesses such as Hartwell Abingdon OMODA JAECOO and Marshall Volkswagen South Oxford (Milton Gate Abingdon), highlighting the strong automotive presence locally.
Key Responsibilities*Acting as the first point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service and repair.
*Booking vehicles into the workshop and organising service schedules.
*Providing clear communication and updates to customers regarding vehicle progress.
*Preparing job cards, invoices, and service documentation accurately.
*Liaising with technicians and workshop controllers regarding work required.
*Upselling additional work and services where appropriate.
Requirements*Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a dealership or garage environment preferred.
*Excellent customer service and communication skills.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced aftersales environment.
*Strong organisational and administrative skills.
*Full UK driving licence.
