Role - Teacher of English
Location - Maidstone
Start Date - Easter 2026 - full time
Salary - MPS1- UPS3 depending on experience - PAYE!
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking creative English Teachers to work in a range of secondary schools in the Maidstone area. The roles are to start after Easter and will be until the end of the academic year - July 2026!
The role:
*To plan and deliver engaging and creative English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
*Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and enrich the educational experiences of the students
*Spark curiosity and critical thinking through the exploration of English literature and language
Requirements:
*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English
*Have the ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential
*Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
*Legal right to work in the UK
