Description
Data Architect
*Develop and maintain enterprise-wide data architecture frameworks that are secure, scalable and aligned with organisational and regulatory requirements.
*Design logical and physical data models, data flows and integration patterns across platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, data lakes and data warehouses.
*Partner with analytics, engineering and business teams to ensure seamless data integration and the availability of high-quality, accessible data.
*Implement strong data governance and compliance practices, ensuring adherence to data protection, security and industry standards.
*Evaluate, recommend and support the adoption of modern data technologies and tools, including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Copilot and emerging AI/ML solutions.
*Lead data platform modernisation initiatives, including optimisation of existing environments and supporting transitions from legacy systems to cloud-based solutions.
*Provide clear technical guidance to cross-functional teams, translating complex data and AI concepts into actionable insights for a range of stakeholders.
*Monitor and optimise data systems to enhance performance, reliability, accuracy and operational efficiency.
*Support the integration of machine learning and AI solutions, ensuring ethical governance, ongoing monitoring and responsible deployment.
