Teaching Assistant - Ealing
Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Ealing who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to assist students across the classroom. You will help create a positive learning environment, support lesson activities, and provide additional support to students who may need extra guidance to reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
*Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
*Working with small groups and individual students to reinforce learning
*Assisting with classroom behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment
*Supporting students with varying learning needs, including those who may require additional support
*Helping to prepare classroom resources and materials
*Encouraging student participation, confidence and independence in learning
Requirements:
*Previous UK-based secondary school experience is essential and candidates without this will not be considered
*Experience supporting young people in a classroom setting
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A proactive, patient and supportive approach
*A genuine passion for supporting students’ education and development
