Job Description:
We are working with a Warwick based organistion who are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established finance team and take ownership of a large, complex payroll function within a supportive environment.
Reporting to the Foundation Director of Finance, you will lead the payroll function and manage a small team, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing a small payroll team
*Overseeing payroll for circa 1,000 employees
*Managing payroll processes including pensions and benefits administration
*Handling pension remittance, auto-enrolment and compliance requirements
*Preparing and submitting monthly and annual returns
*Managing year-end payroll processes
*Supporting system upgrades and improvements
*Ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance and continuous process improvement
Essential experience:
*Solid payroll management experience
*Experience managing pensions within payroll
*Ability to lead and support a small team
Desirable:
*Knowledge of iTrent payroll system
