Job Description:
A legal 500 law firm is seeking an experienced and ambitious Solicitor to lead and grow its Private Client Department
This is a senior role ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a commercial mindset who enjoys building and managing a team.
You will provide strategic leadership, oversee complex probate and Court of Protection matters, mentor junior lawyers, and drive the department’s growth through business development and client relationship management.
Key Requirements:
*Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 8+ years’ PQE
*Extensive experience in probate, estate administration, and Court of Protection work
*Proven leadership or management experience
*STEP qualification preferred (or working towards)
*Experience in contentious probate matters
Key Skills:
*Strong leadership and communication skills
*Excellent technical knowledge
*Commercial and proactive approach to growth
*Commitment to high standards of client care
