Job Description:
Job Title: Welder/Fabricator
Location: Ilkley, West Yorkshire
Company: Elevation Recruitment Group – Working with a Large Manufacturing Business
About the Role:
Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to partner with a large manufacturing business based in Ilkley, who are currently seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their team. This is a permanent position on permanent morning shifts offering an excellent hourly rate, as well as opportunities for ongoing training and career development.
Key Responsibilities:
*Perform MIG and TIG welding to a high standard, particularly on stainless steel.
*Fabricate metal components to precise engineering drawings and specifications.
*Operate and maintain robotic welding equipment (training available if necessary).
*Ensure all welds meet strict quality and safety standards.
*Conduct routine maintenance and checks on welding equipment.
*Work within a collaborative team, contributing to project success and achieving production goals.
*Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
*Proactively identify areas for improvement in processes and quality.
*Follow company policies and health & safety regulations.
Required Skills & Experience:
*Apprentice-trained in welding and fabrication (or equivalent).
*Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, particularly on stainless steel.
*Some experience with robot welding equipment is beneficial, but training can be provided.
*Strong ability to interpret technical drawings.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
*Willingness to learn new skills and develop further in the role.
*Ability to work effectively within a team.

*Competitive hourly rate between £19.67ph - £22.48ph
*Late Shift Monday to Thursday 2:15pm - 00:30am and Midnight on a Thursday
