Hays are working with a well-established organisation in Dewsbury who require an Interim Assistant Finance Manager to support the team during a period of transition. This is a great opportunity to step into a hands-on role and add value quickly.

Your New Role
As Interim Assistant Finance Manager, you will support the Finance Manager and wider team with day-to-day financial operations. Key responsibilities include:
*Supporting month-end and year-end processes
*Preparing management accounts and financial reports
*Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
*Overseeing transactional finance activities
*Supporting audit preparation and compliance requirements
*Providing guidance to junior finance staff
*Contributing to process improvements and strengthening financial controls
What You’ll Need to Succeed
*Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or QBE with strong experience
*Solid background in management accounts and month-end duties
*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
*Ability to work independently and integrate quickly into a busy finance environment
*Confident communicator with a proactive approach
