Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:*Support students with a range of SEN, including physical, learning, emotional, and behavioural needs.
*Assist with the delivery of tailored learning plans and activities.
*Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
*Encourage social interaction and independence amongst students.
*Provide one-on-one and small group support in the classroom.
*Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), and other staff members to monitor student progress.
*Support students with their emotional and personal development.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:*Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience is desirable but not essential).
*A genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*An understanding of safeguarding practices and procedures.
Desirable Qualifications:*A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Special Educational Needs (or similar) is preferred.
*First Aid training is a bonus.
*Experience working with children in an educational setting.
