Looking for a hands-on, field-based role within the drainage and environmental services sector? We’re recruiting a HGV Jet Vac Operator to join a growing operational team delivering specialist drainage, maintenance and remediation services. This is a practical role suited to someone who enjoys working on-site, leading tasks, and solving problems in real-time.
About the Client:
We’re supporting an established UK environmental services organisation operating across drainage, infrastructure and maintenance projects. The business is known for its strong safety culture, investment in specialist equipment, and commitment to developing its workforce.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Operating HGV Jet Vac units to carry out drainage and cleaning works
* Maintaining and servicing equipment in line with operational standards
* Supporting patch lining and drain lining activities as part of remedial works
* Ensuring full compliance with RAMS and health & safety procedures
* Completing waste documentation and duty of care paperwork
* Communicating effectively with clients, supervisors and wider teams
* Leading or supporting site teams to deliver work within timeframes
What We Need From You:
* Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
* Proven experience in drainage and jetting operations (desirable)
* Strong understanding of RAMS and safe systems of work
* Experience working within environmental or drainage services
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Good communication skills (written and verbal)
* Full UK driving licence
* Right to work in the UK
