Our client is a well established leisure and hospitality business with numerous sites across the UK. They are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their busy team.
Description
*Be a key point of contact for guests, delivering a friendly, professional experience always
*Lead, motivate, train, and allocate work across the maintenance team
*Implement and manage proactive maintenance schedules for plant, equipment, and facilities
*Carry out and oversee regular health & safety inspections, always ensuring full compliance
*Complete daily, weekly, and monthly inspections to identify defects, risks, and improvement opportunities
*Manage and coordinate siting activities and holiday home movements in partnership with the Sales team
*Oversee contractor works, ensuring quality, safety, and value for money
*Control departmental budgets, monitoring spend and driving cost-effective solutions
*Ensure all equipment and assets are safe, compliant, and fully operational
Profile
A successful Maintenance Manager should have:
*Proven experience in a maintenance management or supervisory role, ideally within leisure or hospitality.
*Strong people-management skills with a natural ability to lead from the front
*Solid hands-on maintenance knowledge (plumbing, carpentry, basic electrics, plant & equipment) is advantageous
*Excellent understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice
*Confident communicator, able to work effectively with guests, teams, contractors, and senior management
*Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills
*Experience managing budgets and controlling costs
*Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak trading periods as required
Job Offer
*Competitive salary ranging from £27,000 to £35,000 per annum.
