Lead Primary Teacher (Key Stage Lead)Location: Girton, Cambridge | Salary: Competitive (MPS + Leadership Uplift)

As our new Lead Primary Teacher, you aren’t just managing a classroom; you are architecting an environment where neurodivergent children finally feel safe enough to flourish.
Your ImpactIn this dual-focus role, you will balance high-quality specialist teaching with strategic Key Stage leadership:
*In the Classroom: Lead a small, personal class of up to 10 pupils, adapting a broad and balanced curriculum to meet specific sensory and learning profiles.
*As a Leader: Drive excellence across your Key Stage, overseeing curriculum planning, tracking learner progress, and mentoring a dedicated team of staff.
*Holistic Development: Prioritize life and social skills alongside academics, ensuring our learners are prepared for the opportunities and responsibilities of adult life.
*Collaboration: Work closely with parents and our multidisciplinary team to ensure every Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) is a living document of success.
Who You AreYou are a resilient, empathetic leader who understands that "all behavior is communication." You balance high expectations with deep compassion.
Essential Criteria:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a proven track record in Primary education.
*SEND Experience: Significant experience working with autistic children or young people.
*Leadership DNA: The ability to inspire a team, manage performance, and lead with organizational clarity.
*Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Google Suite and data management.
The "Extra Mile" (Desirable):
*Post-graduate qualifications in Autism or SEN.
*NPQML or experience in school improvement planning.
