YEAR 4 PRIMARY TEACHER REQUIRED
Academics are supporting a warm, welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 primary Teacher to join their team on a supply basis thorugh Academics for the Summer Term.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a lovely, supportive school environment where staff wellbeing and pupil progress are a genuine priority.
The Role
You will take on full class teacher responsibilities for a Year 4 class, including:
*Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
*Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
*Marking and providing constructive feedback
*Tracking pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
*Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policy
*Attending staff meetings and liaising with colleagues and parents where required
*Preparing pupils for end-of-year expectations and supporting a smooth transition
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable)
*Strong classroom management skills
*A nurturing and adaptable approach
*Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
