About the Role
As the newReception Class Teacher, you will:
*Lead a lively and curious Reception cohort through the EYFS curriculum
*Create a rich, stimulating, and play-based learning environment
*Plan, deliver, and assess engaging child-centred activities
*Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
*Support children’s early communication, social skills, and independence
*Work closely with experienced EYFS practitioners and leaders
*Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
*A nurturing, patient, and creative teaching style
*Ability to inspire curiosity, confidence, and early love of learning
*Strong communication and classroom-management skills
*Experience in Reception or Early Years (preferred but not essential)
*Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
