A leading manufacturing business based in Blackpool is seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager to take ownership of site hygiene standards and drive best practice across the operation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-focused individual to play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, compliance, and pest control within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role:
*Lead and manage all site hygiene activities, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards
*Take ownership of pest control management, working closely with external providers where required
*Develop and implement robust cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures
*Ensure the site meets all food safety / hygiene regulations (where applicable)
*Conduct regular audits and inspections, driving continuous improvement
*Train and support staff to maintain high hygiene and housekeeping standards
*Act as the key point of contact for all hygiene-related matters on site
About You:
*Proven experience in a Hygiene Manager / Hygiene Lead role within manufacturing
*Strong experience or exposure to pest control management
*Good understanding of hygiene standards, audits, and compliance requirements
*A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
*Confident managing processes, people, and external contractors
*Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across teams
