An award-winning and highly regarded independent planning consultancy is seeking a Senior Town Planner to join its established and growing London office.
This consultancy is well known for delivering high-quality planning advice across a wide range of development sectors and offers a genuinely collaborative, people-focused working environment. The London team works on complex and interesting projects, often with significant strategic and design-led elements.
The RoleAs a Senior Town Planner, you will:
*Manage planning applications, pre-application submissions and appeals across London and the wider South East

*Provide clear, commercially aware planning advice to a diverse client base

*Lead projects from early strategy through to determination

*Engage with local authorities, consultants and key stakeholders

*Support and mentor junior planners within the team

*Contribute to the ongoing success and reputation of the London office

About YouThe successful candidate will typically have:
*A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline

*MRTPI (or close to achieving chartership)

*Solid experience within the UK planning system, ideally gained in consultancy

*Strong written, analytical and presentation skills

*The confidence to manage projects and client relationships with minimal supervision
