Job Description:
Tradewind is currently recruiting for a dynamic and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Denbughshirefrom April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a well-supported department that values creativity, critical thinking, and student success.
We’re seeking a dedicated educator who can deliver engaging English lessons and foster a love of literature and language among learners at Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons tailored to a range of abilities
*Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
*Support whole-school literacy initiatives and extracurricular activities
*Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Requirements:
*A recognised PGCE or equivalent secondary teaching qualification in English
*Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is essential
*Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
*A passion for English and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential
