Job Description:
Lab Technologist
West Molesey
£25,000 - £27,000 pro rata
20 hours per week
Are you a bright and enthusiastic Lab Technologist with background knowledge of chemistry or lab work? Join a collaborative team where you will be working on sampling, testing, and QA and competitor testing. Whilst mainly working independently, you should also be able to work within a team to draw experience, feedback, and advice from your colleagues. You should be organised, analytical, able to work independently, be a creative problem solver, and a desire to strive for excellence.
Responsibilities of the Lab Technologist:
*Testing new products
*Reviewing samples if not approved
*Maintain a high standard of organisation and cleanliness
*Confident making up samples for approval
*Sample a range of product applications
*Check and approve pre-production samples (Red Seals) and 1 production samples (Gold Seals) for new products
*Organise research and findings
Skills required for the Lab Technologist:
*Background within chemistry or lab work
*Word, Outlook & Excel proficiency
*Analytical
*Highly organised
