*Maintain accurate financial records for a designated portfolio of properties.
*Prepare and review client reports, including income and expenditure statements.
*Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
*Handle client queries and provide clear and professional communication.
*Monitor and manage service charge budgets and reconciliations.
*Collaborate with property managers to ensure financial processes align with operational needs.
*Process payments and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
*Assist with annual audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
Profile
A successful Client Accountant should have:
*Proven experience in property accounting or a similar role.
*Strong understanding of service charge accounting and regulations.
*Previous experience using QUBE essential.
*Experience managing a commercial property portfolio.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
*A proactive and solution-focused approach to challenges.
